How to Do a Facial
A facial is a multi-step skin treatment method that is the best way to take care of your skin. A facial cleanses, exfoliates, good hydration improves complexion, and helps your skin look younger. Facial works well when it is done with care in a proper way. There are many types of facial like- gold facial, paraffin facial, fruit facial, collagen facial, aromatherapy facial, etc. These facials are available on the basis of different skin such as dry, sensitive, Oily, Acne-prone, and Combination skin. Its steps are as follows -
Cleansing Your Face
Cleansing your face is an important part of your skincare routine. It helps to get rid of dirt, excess oil, and makeup. You can use raw honey to clean your skin. Honey has excellent antibacterial and hydrating properties that make your skin soft and clean. Apply honey on your face, massage for about a minute or two, and then clean it. It suits all skin types.
Select a cleaner that best suits your skin type. If you have oily skin, use an oil-free cleanser. For dry skin, use a mild foaming cleanser.
Clean your face with warm water.
Take the same amount as a pea to cleanse your face and slowly rotate it upwards in a circular motion on your skin.
Then clean it with cold water.

Scrub the face

4) Scrub is another extremely important step when it comes to facial. Exfoliation helps remove all dead skin cells from your skin. It helps in brightening your face by revealing the younger and healthier layer of your skin. You can also use natural ingredients or household items.
Normal skin- Mix 1 teaspoon fine oatmeal, one teaspoon honey, and one teaspoon olive oil together.
Oilskin- Mix 1 teaspoon honey with one teaspoon of water and one teaspoon of sugar.
Dry Skin- Mix one teaspoon honey with 1 teaspoon olive oil and one teaspoon finely ground almonds.
After you clean your face, choose an exfoliator according to your skin type.
Take the amount of scrub as needed and gently rub it upwards in a circular motion on your skin.
Do this for a few minutes, but do it comfortably. Do not over-scrub your face.
Clean the face with cold water.
Steam your Face
Steam relaxes your skin and helps in opening pores. It helps remove all the dirt from your skin.
Take a pot of hot water.
Place a towel over your head and place your face on top of the pot so that the steam is evenly applied to your face.
After the steaming process is complete, your skin is ready to nourish. Applying a face mask gives a boost to your skin, it makes your skin look healthy and glowing. The best thing about masks is that they are made according to the treatment of various skin irritations.
Normal Skin- 1 Tbsp Honey + 1 Tbsp Yogurt
Oily skin - 1 Tbsp Multani Mitti + 1 Tbsp Honey
Dry skin - ½ a banana (mashed) + 1 tbsp honey
Choose the appropriate DIY mask according to your skin, which will help solve your skin troubles.
Spread a thin layer of mask on your face. Avoid applying too close to your eyes or mouth.
To comfort the eyes, cut two thin chips of cucumbers or potatoes.
After waiting for a certain time, wipe the mask with a wet cloth or cotton wool.
Apply toner on the face
Now your face has taken all the good things of face mask, then your face needs toner. Toners seal your pores and help remove any impurities. So keep in mind that you apply toner after cleansing and before moisturizing.
Use one teaspoon of water mixed with half a teaspoon of apple cider vinegar and use it to tone your face. Apple cider vinegar balances the ph of your skin while closing your pores.
Choose a toner that suits your skin type.
Take a cotton pad and apply it to the toner on your face. Pay close attention to the area around your eyes.
Allow the toner to dry naturally.
