The practice of Karna Peedasana's posture should be done in a secluded and clean place.  For this posture, lie down on the back by laying a carpet or mat on the ground below. Karnapidasana is an advance deep inverted yoga asana. This asana is a major practice for extension of the spine, flexible hamstrings, and converged shoulders. King Halasana is another name by which Karnapidasana is known because it is an advanced pose or Halasana. Therefore, the teacher advises Halasana a preparation posture to leap into Karnapidasana. Karnapidasana and Halasana are part of the traditional Ashtanga yoga concluding series and are practiced one after another. The way our body turned into these 2 asanas was identified as one of the strongest trunk flexion sequences

The practice of Karna Peedasana's posture should be done in a secluded and clean place.  For this posture, lie down on the back by laying a carpet or mat on the ground below. Now leave the whole body loose.  Keep both hands upright by putting both arms beside the waist and keep the palms facing down. Now raise both legs together and bring them upwards slowly. Now keep both the legs on both sides of the head by touching both the ears and keep the paws and knees down on the floor. Stay in this position for a while, then slowly return to normal and rest for some time. Then do this action again. Do this action 5 times daily.

 

Precaution of doing Karna Peedasana:-

During the practice of this asana, do not try to lift the legs with jerks. This can cause sprains in the neck. Do this asana comfortably. This posture is difficult, so instead of keeping the knees and feet on the floor, first try to keep only the feet on the floor. After this, try to keep the knees slowly on the floor.
