Method of Mandukasana :-
To perform this asana, first of all, spread a yoga mat on the floor and bend your knees on it and sit on the knee. You can also sit in the posture of Vajrasana for doing yoga. Now close the fist of both hands by pressing the thumbs with the fingers, join the fingers of both hands together and keep them near the navel on your stomach. Then inhale and come back to the initial position (Vajrasana).

What precautions should be taken while performing Mundaka posture?:-
1) If you have any type of wound in your stomach or back, do not do this asana.
2) If you are already suffering from the pain of your knees, do not do this asana.
3) While doing the posture, keep in mind that you do not stretch your stomach too much.
4) A pregnant woman should not do this asana.
5) If you are troubled by problems like high blood pressure, insomnia, migraine, then do not do this asana.
